This flower upcycling project gives you pretty flowers in an upcycled container. How cool is that?

In the photo, my flowers haven't bloomed yet, (or even budded), but they're on their way! I grew mine from the seed, but you can buy flowers in a pot or transplant some you've already grown if you want.
How to Make
Instructions
This project was a long-term one because I grew my flowers from the seed. Actually, it took me two tries to grow some because I got the first batch of seeds on clearance and it ended up not growing. The second try was grown from fresh seeds. After my seeds grew up a little bit, I started upcycling. I used an old princess bike basket that was mine when I was younger. First, I cut off the bottom of an old grocery sack to fit the basket. Then I hot glued the top edge of the sack to the rim of the basket. I then took the project outside and filled the basket 3/4 of the way with potting soil. Finally, I took the rim off the paper pot the flowers were in and set the disposable pot in the basket. I filled the basket the rest of the way, and there you have it! A flower upcycling project!
